1. Do you prefer console or pc?
Console. I have a Mac so that limits things on the PC end, but even so, I'm not a big fan of FPS's and the like, and there are very few Japanese games on PC. It's more fun to relax on the couch.
2. Which console is your favorite?
Dreamcast. I'd say it had the best ratio of awesome to crap games of any system. Master System is a close #2, but not for the same reasons (mostly nostalgia).
3. Which console(s) if any do you own?
Atari 2600
Atari 2600 Jr.
Magnavox Odyssey 2
Vectrex
Nintendo Entertainment System
Atari 7800
Sega Master System
Sega Genesis
Nintendo Gameboy
Sega Game Gear
Atari Lynx
Super Nintendo
Sega Saturn
Sony Playstation
Neo-Geo Pocket Color
Nintendo 64
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo Gameboy Advance
Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP
Sony Playstation 2
Nintendo Gamecube
Nintendo DS
4. Which is your all time favorite game?
Phantasy Star for Master System, closely followed by Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast. Yes, I like Rieko Kodama games.
5. What's your most played game at the moment?
World of Warcraft of course.
6. Do you prefer playing online, with friends or alone?
Depends on the game. A good RPG, lock me away and leave me alone. A game like Guitar Hero is best with friends. World of Warcraft is best online, but I really mostly enjoy playing with real life friends on it, even though there are thousands of others to tag along with.
7. Which games do you own and for which platform?
Instead of making this post way too long, I'll just link you to the game list on my website.
8. What game are you most looking forward to?
Hard to say with E3 coming up, I don't know what will be available! Probably a combination of Gutar Hero 2, Metroid Prime 3, and the WoW expansion.
9. Most hours devoted to a single game?
I think I now have about 45 days /played in World of Warcraft. I'd say about 30 of them have been spent chatting with
symbioid. Haha
10. Why do you like playing games?
I like problem solving, and games do that. Games also allow you to experience things you really can't in real life, so I like their uniqueness in that regard. And of course there's a bit of nostalgia associated with it as well.
