Uh, symbioid may want to check out this video. It's of the a multi-game for GBA called Digitylish. Anyway, the second game in the movie (Dialhex) looks a lot like the Hexbgon game you're designing. Those bastards! :0

LCD Keyboard

Apple needs to make one of these. It's a keyboard where every key is a small LCD screen. Thus every application can change what the keyboard says the keys are. Hold down a modifier key and it changes the value of the keys to the modified value. Launch Quake and you see what buttons correspond to moving, shooting, etc. No more trying to remember what key does what. Awesome!
